Concrete is heavy and when the base underneath is not prepared adequately often the slab will sink over time.

The problem is typically fixed by jackhammering out the sunken concrete, preparing a proper base and pouring new. That is rather expensive and as a result many homeowners and businesses have just lived with the fact that they have a puddle at the bottom of their step, or a trip hazard in the sidewalk…

DecoPolymer uses a system called mudjacking to raise concrete to the correct level. In order to do this a cement slurry is pumped under the concrete through holes drilled in the slab. As the voids underneath the concrete get filled the pressure buildup results in the concrete lifting upwards. The injected slurry hardens and the concrete stays at the proper height.
